General Description
BootIt NG is a complete disk-management program that includes a boot manager, a partition manager, and partition imaging capability, all seamlessly integrated into a single space-efficient program. BootIt NG features a simple, mouse-driven graphical interface, and is entirely self-contained, requiring no operating system to install and run.
IFD is a partition-imaging program that runs under DOS (MS-DOS, PC-DOS, FreeDOS, etc.). IFD has the advantage of running outside of Windows when this functionality is needed, and can even be run from a bootable floppy disk. IFD is included with the purchase of IFW, and can also be purchased separately. IFD can be run:
- Interactively, using simple menu driven options;
- From the command line;
- From batch files.
IFW is a program for creating and restoring images of partitions, and offers all the conveniences and advantages of running from within the Windows environment. IFW runs under all versions of Win9x/Me and WinNT/2K/XP/Vista. Every purchase of IFW also includes a copy of IFD.IFW can be run:

Installation
BootIt NG is installed from a bootable floppy disk or CD that is created using a program included in the BootIt NG distribution archive.
IFD is installed by simply extracting the IFD distribution archive to a chosen directory. The IFD files can also be placed on a pre-existing bootable DOS floppy.
IFW is installed by running the setup program included in the IFW distribution archive.
